Using Data to Match Potential Strategic Business Partners

Working with Equallet, we used our modeling process to create an algorithm which matched the best possible strategic partners. This was used at a strategic partner matching mixer which included:

  • An Evaluation:  assessed core beliefs, business needs, mindset and behavioral competencies to match people that would have the best chance of success.

  • Access:  to potential strategic partners and experts including legal.

  • Continued Momentum:  connections and take away reports for attendees to use in future search's.

During the event, women were matched in groups to explore goals and needs. These groups were determined using the matching algorithm based on their personalities and business needs. The women were then matched for one-on-ones based on their preferences.

Outcomes:

A post event survey, showed that the connections were strong with at least one “solid connection” that lead to a strategic partnership effort.

“Going through the Equallet matching process gave me a unique sense of calm in the incredibly frightening process of finding a co-founder. The assessment gave me a strong sense of reassurance and confidence in my next step decisions. Now, I feel ready to jump, take the leap and make this match legal with the support of Equallet!”

I thought it was a really valuable event. I saw a lot of people making new, meaningful connections and finding a lot of common ground, sharing strategies and contacts.
