The Problem

The client was releasing a new version of their product.  The overall UX was not very good, and the company and team did not feel like it could compete with other large company nor start-up products and solutions in the same space.


Root Cause

Multiple developers were involved, including offshore teams, who all needed to align on the design principals. There was a lack of UX design thinking in the underlying UX as well as the UI implementation.


the solution

EDUCATE:
Informed the client on core UX design principals so that they could use them beyond just this revision of product.

ENABLE:
Conducted a product experience review with recommendations within 2 weeks.

EMPOWER:
Created example UI concepts for improvements, on an effort scale for quick fixes, vs. higher effort needed vs. innovation.

  • Better team understanding of UX and how to approach design.
